A one of a kind eco printed scarf  with subtle sage greens on a very light creamy sage background.  This beautiful scarf with subtle prints is the perfect addition to any clothing ensemble – from a polished, professional look to a more casual one. With this wearable art you won’t need any additional jewellery!

Each piece is created individually by carefully and thoughtfully arranging the foliage on the piece and then printing it. This is dyed with native pittospernum and eco printed with windfall eucalypt leaves and acacia dealbata (silver wattle) leaves giving it the unusual shades of sage greens. The botanical prints draw one in to have a closer look at the scarf.

My naturally dyed and/or eco printed pieces have the colours released by the plant’s pigments. The results are not predictable as the pigment released can vary depending on environmental conditions at the time and the soil. The same plant in a different environment may print very differently.

When you look closely you will see not just a variety of foliage but the positive and negative prints of the foliage as well. When you receive your piece see if you can identify the plants used and see if you can find the positive and negative images of the foliage used.

When the fabric is wet or damp it may release the aroma of the Australian bush but this will fade once it is dry again.
