Views from a Balloon

As you float above the countryside in a hot air ballon in a weirdly silent environment except for the occasional whoosh of the burst of gas a different perspective of the landscape is exposed for your eyes, your senses.  Incredible vistas unfold as you glide over the landscape.

There are two  series within this category: Views from Above and Ploughed Fields.  The series of the ploughed fields over time from the drought to when it broke came about because of the  lasting impression on me of seeing this phenomena unfold from above.
